iAgora supports Free Software (Open Source)
iAgora's web services are largely built using Free Software (also known as Open Source Software). Our servers
run Linux, Apache, mod_perl and MySQL. Our web backend modules are
written in Perl, and our chat system
is based on an IRC server.
In the process of creating iAgora,
we've developped technology to build multi-lingual,
templated, dynamic websites, maximizing maintainability,
and minimizing duplication of HTML code.
We are now releasing this technology as Free Software, under the terms
of the GNU General Public
- iAct - A multi-lingual web
development and templating framework built on Apache and mod_perl.
- iA::CMS - A database-backed
Content Management System for iAct.
We have also developped an accelerator daemon for Apache, which greatly
improves its scalability in serving dynamic pages with preloaded
- lingerd - A daemon designed
to accelerate Apache by taking over "lingering connections".
