Forums
User Guidelines

The Forums are where Internationals interact, argue, flirt, laugh, debate, or whatever they're in the mood for. There is a significant amount of combined knowledge among our members, and the forums are one place at iAgora where such knowledge can be exchanged. We want to let the Forums grow as naturally as possible without having to delete any posts, but we do have a few simple guidelines to follow. By posting a message at iAgora, you are agreeing to these simple rules:

What to avoid

Messages you could write that might cause us to hit 'delete' are those that are illegal, threaten or harass another member, advertise, impersonate another member, or defame a person or whole groups based on race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Quotes from the forums

Because iAgora is almost entirely based on member contributions, we'd like to be able to make your witty thoughts, ravings, or tips more accessible to people in other places. By posting, you agree that we can reprint your post along with your member name somewhere else on the site, on the Web, and/or in other print or electronic media (such as a brochure, a newsletter, or a banner ad). We will certainly try not to publish anything that we think could embarrass you or somehow get you into trouble.

Caveat

And while you are certainly free to do and read what you choose, please keep in mind that while many of the members have some great tips for you, we have not verified any of them. Take information in the Forums with a grain of salt and check it out yourself. Along the same lines, you may not want to publish your phone number or address in a place quite so public - send someone an iNote if you want to meet in person.

Get posting!

Except for these few rules, you can feel free to say whatever you want - we are not in the business of stifling opinions. You may want to keep in mind that most of the time it's better when we treat other people's opinions and feelings with respect.
