iClassifieds Posting Ads How do I post in multiple countries? - You can post your ad only in one country at a time. To post in multiple countries, you must repost your ad in each country. How can I renew my ad before it expires? - Visit your MyAds page where you can alter the expiry date on your ad. What do I do if the city I want to post my ad in is not listed? - Choose the city closest to the area you are interested in. - Email us at iclassifieds@iagora.net and we´ll work on getting your city into our database. Why should I display my membername with my ad? - People browsing ads will be able to see your profile and learn a bit more about you. - The more they know about you, the more likely they´ll be to respond to your ad. How do I include a photo with my ad? - The photo must first be scanned and saved as a computer file or taken with a digital camera and saved as a computer file. - Once the photo is saved as a computer file, it must be "uploaded" onto the web. Two places where you can do this include, http://www.webshots.com and http://y42.photos.yahoo.com/. - Once you have a URL for your photo, enter it by following the steps for posting an ad in iClassifieds. (**Note the difference between an image URL and a website URL. Your image URL will most often end with "gif" or "jpeg" rather than "html". If your image is not appearing in your ad, perhaps alter this end part of the URL.) - When you include a photo with your ad the camera icon will show that your ad has a photo and will, in turn, attract more people to your ad. What currency should I list the price of the item in? - Chose the currency in which you would prefer to be paid. - If you are willing to accept other currencies, note this in the "other info" box when posting the ad. How exactly do I post anonymously? - In your "Contact Info" part of posting your ad, click on "I would like my username to be: hidden, post anonymously." - You can only truly remain anonymous if you choose to receive responses to your ad by iNote as, if you enter your email address, it will appear in your ad. - Choosing to recieve responses by iNote will mean that, when a user clicks on "Respond to this ad", they will be sending their response as an iNote without knowing how you are receiving your responses. - Remember that any information included in "other contact information" will appear in the ad.
