How do I join an iClub?
- If you are in the index of any iClub and are not a member, you will see the
"Join this club" link under the announcements.
- Click here and you'll be a member!
What's the difference between a member, a host, and a co-host?
- A member can:
1. Post Events in the Events Calendar
2. Read and Post messages on both the noticeboard and the iClub forums
3. Start new discussions in the Message System: Forums
5. Invite others to join the iClub
6. Add your own favorite bookmarks and text files under the library
7. Individually contact other members of the iClub through iNotes
8. Contact the Host
9. Report violations
- A host and a co-host can:
1.Perform all of the above as well as...
2.Edit the iClub settings (i.e. change the founders
message, the main picture and so on)
3.Remove members from the iClub
4.Send group messages to all iClub members
How do I invite someone to join an iClub?
- On the left side of every iClubs page is a link that reads, "Invite a
friend".
- Click on the link to be taken to the invitation form.
- You can invite both iAgora members as well as non-iAgora members (but non
members will have to become iAgora members to join the iClub).
- An email invitation will be sent to the person describing how to join the iClub.
How do I resign from an iClub?
- Click on the "Resign from Club" link underneath Member Tools on the
left hand side of every iClubs page.
- You'll be taken to a page asking if you really want to resign from the iClub.
- Click "Yes" and you will be removed from the iClub.
- Note: This does NOT terminate your iAgora membership. Resigning from
an iClub will delete your name from the member list, and will revoke your
rights to post in the iClub.
How can I contact the host of an iClub?
- Click on "Contact Host" underneath Member Tools on the left hand
side of every iClubs page.
