Language of instruction
Exchange students with a reasonable proficiency in Swedish are usually expected to take courses taught in Swedish. However, in order for exchange students without prior knowledge of Swedish to be able to study at Uppsala University a number of courses are regularly taught in English for international and Swedish students as well.
Tuition and fees
Studying at Swedish universities is free of charge, but you have to pay a limited fee to the Student Union and a Student Nation each semester.
Housing
Uppsala University is responsible for finding a student room for exchange students. Otherwise, it is strongly advised to apply for a room or flat as soon as admission to the university is confirmed.
Visa Requirements
