"Miera", formerly known as "Die Aubergine", a very decent slow-food restaurant and run by a German family, serves great Italian food with a big variety of other Mediterranian dishes. Still, the owners do have the guts to serve new creations made with ingredients of the international cuisine (e.g., recently I had a great Italian salad with shii-take). They also have a great selection of wines, and you can either choose to sit in the bistro (where you can also buy Italian delicatessen to take home) or in the lounge-like restaurant on the 1st floor. Despite the high quality food, prices aren't too harmful.
Pros: Great food & wines, chic, youthful atmosphere.
Cons: Not the cheapest restaurant in town.
