Shopping in Vienna is just great! Not cheap, but superb quality to last for ages! Actually the shop I liked best when I visited Vienna was MAYR & FESSLER on the famous Kärntner Strasse! They got exclusive writing instruments, fine leather goods, elegant gifts and of course souvenirs - some are especially made for this store only!!!!(www.mayr-fessler.at) Of all the "Main Shopping Streets" I liked the Kärntner Strasse best (Graben & Kohlmarkt are just for the super-rich - I mean if you want to spend over 7000 Dollars for a coat it's recommendable, but still you could find the same quality or even better one for much less!!) So my tip: Kärntner Strasse & if you're looking for something special: MAYR & FESSLER!
