Curitiba is about 15 degrees colder than Sao Paulo. It is also about 25 hours from Sao Paulo by bus. The city dwellers where warm European fashions, and parties (for younger crowds) feature wine and pasta instead of the beer and barbecue of the North. Keep your clothes on down here!

Pros: excellent food and pretty clothes
Cons: less wild and friendly than other Brazilian cities
