Wanna eat? Visit: "Churascarria"

There is a large net of restaurants in Brazil - "churascarria". It is net of restaurants, something like "all you can eat". There is just one price for one plate and you can eat everything what you see there and what your stomache is friendly with :o). Waiters are still going around you and offer you all sorts of meat you can imagine. But remember, donīt stop in first churascarria, there are very various prices in that restaurants and just on the other side of street can be one with a lower price...
Pros: cheap "royal dinner"
Cons: be carreful :o)

Rio has some really fantastic restaurants where you can eat for totally reasonable prices. Porcao is a great churascurria - but the amount of food you get is a bit shocking! I also had great experiences with the juice stands - great juice and really inexpensive croquettes. Makes for a perfect lunch after a beach morning.
Pros: tons of great things to taste
Cons: you could get fat easily!

Porcao: "To oink or not to oink"

While you're in Brazil, at least in Rio or Sao Paulo, assuming you've worked up an appetite, head on over to Porcao for a meal you can't forget. Although a chain whose customers tend to be American, German, and British, you get a full cross-cultural experience without the risk of leaving hungry. With drinks and dessert it can get a bit pricy, but there's something for everyone-salmon, beef, pork and an amazing salad bar. The best part though, is how the food is served: Brazilian style on large skewers..and the waiters don't stop serving until you flip over a card(because your mouth will be too full to speak) saying you've had enough in Portuguese
Pros: The variety is great and its all you can eat
Cons: A little pricey, lots of tourists
Rating: 3/4
Details: There are at least 3 in Rio,more in Sao Paulo
