Summer time is festival time in Montreal. June-July is the World reknown International Jazz Fest, followed in July by the comedy "Just for Laughs" festival, and then "Francopholie" where you can see a whole bunch of French bands from around the world. Theres are a lot more festivals too.
Pros: great music, people, atmosphere, etc..
