Bring your own booze: "Wine for food, food for wine"

Whoever came up with this concept is a great person! In the province of Quebec (As far as I know, this is only the place where you can do this), some restaurant owners decided not to go with purchasing a liquor licence from the government, hence not having to do all that redtape that goes with it just to sell a bloody bottle.
This means that we have restaurants where you can bring your own booze (BYOB), or in French "Apporter votre vin". There are all kinds of restaurants who do this, but do not expect a high class 5 star restaurant. Some of them do serve exquisite food, and very often you need to reserve because these places (the ones that serve really good food) are notoriously packed on week-ends. What can I say, we Montrealers like to eat good and not to have to pay to much for it!
Pros: Cheaper than most restaurants.
Cons:
Details: In Montreal, most are on Duluth, or on Prince Arthur.
