This place is very cheap and well run. It costs 7000 pesos per night (US$3.50). It is situated just outside the old walled center, about a 5-8 minute walk. The street, Calle Media Luna (Half Moon Street), is very famous among travelers as a place to hangout for extended periods of time. I stayed a couple of weeks here and despite it's reputation I found the area to be relatively safe. There are many other cheap accommodation options in the same street.
