The host speaks excellent English, offers guided tours of the town and area and will happily help you with everything. Almost everyone extends their stay and it is highly recommended. Do you like to "get down" in funky locations? Well Trinidad has the place for you! I dont remember the name of the Disco Cave but if you ask around in town everyone will know. You must climb up a hill and then you pay ($7US all you can drink!) and walk down into the bowels of Trinidad! The cave is extensive, with the dance floor in one corner and lots of chairs and tables around the main cave...and of course the bar. Due to the natural acoustics of the cave the music sounds great. You will meet many different cubans, including drag queens! The only advice i have is watch your head as some rocks are hanging low.
