Bohemia Bagel: "Best (and only?)Bagelshop in town"
written:

It is a bagel shop combined with an internet cafe (really cheap) - that is why so many travellers are there. They make hoge hot chocolates and you can not only eat all kinds of bagels (poppy, spinach,cinnamon,..) but also muffins and brownies. Visit the website - even a map is included - so you can`t miss it.

next to the betlems chapel is the best restaurant in prague. You have to go downstairs and you`ll find yourself in a very old vault - you get plenty of food for reasonable prices. That is why many young people and students are visting it.AND they offer a wide range of vegetarian food!

Hungry or not...: "U kozičky"
written:

I have found one one of the Prague´s great "nightlife" places. It is in the historical centre, near "Staromestske namesti" (square). It was late evening, no chance to find a free table in pubs. It was luck me and my friends found one in great pub "U kozicky". Really pleasant place, fine atmosphere and great meal. If hungry or not... stop there and have a beer...
Pros: pleasant, nice, good food and beer
Cons: full everynight
Rating: just a tip
Details: near Staromestske square, walk by foot, ask people or one of the taxi drivers :o)

Prague pub: "Hospoda u Hrocha"

It is very difficult to get off the touristy path while in Prague if one does not have a friend who would show him how to avoid tourists and experience the real culture. I would like to help in this matter and tell you guys about a lovely pub that is truly Czech, since there is a great beer on tap for a low price. In addition it is right by a beautiful historical building in the "Small Side" part of the city where the parliament has its base and therefore the politicians go there for a beer just like a backpacker who might venture in there to munch on the "beer cheese" and sip or rather down a lovely Pilsener. The name of this pub is funny " U HROCHA, which means "By the hippopotamus". I do not know why it is names like this but I like this. When you arrive in Prague, you have to visit this small pub and enjoy the true beer drinking with some politician on your side that might tell you more about Czech Republic. Just ask for this pub or look it up in the yellow pages and go see yourself. If you would like to know more, do not hesitate to write me. I will tell you all I know about Prague if desired. Cheerio…
Pros: cosy, cheap, interesting, true Czech
Cons: so small that there might not be room for you...

Prague restaurant: "Little Devil"
written:

Yes, it looks very touristy, but for big portions of Czeck food at a good price go to The Little Devil. It's on the way to the castle and has a huge, beer bellied, smiling devil sculpture in front.
Pros: good food, good prices
Cons: bit touristy and gimmicky (if you don't like that)
