Nice: "Pretty poor nitelife and beach isn't too appealing"

When I stayed in Nice, I was very impressed by the beautiful women, the weather and the shops. I wasn't impressed by the nitelife however. 'Vieux Nicce' or 'Old Nice' district was busy but there were only a few bars/pubs there, mainly restaurants. Also, there are not too many niteclubs in Nice, so its difficult to meet beautiful women at night. Nice seems to be a couples place as well. Need to be able to speak good French as well to make the most of the nightlife. The beach is very stony and sun-bathing can be annoying lying on these stones. The sea floor also drops very quickly as you walk into the water and so you need to be a good swimmer to enjoy the water. Preferred Cannes to Nice.
Pros: Good weather, beautiful women,good shops
Cons: Nitelife is quiet/expensive,not a singles place
