St. Peter's: "Wear Pants in St. Peter's, or go to hell"

written: 30 October 2000
Well, I never saw the inside of St. Peter's but if I had, I'd tell you how amazingly divine it was. I'd have seen one of the greatest cultural and religious sights in the world... if I'd been wearing pants (I mean as opposed to shorts. No, I wasn't in my undies, although that does sound kindof like fun). So if you trek over to Vatican City, wear long pants. Trust me.

Pros: world famous architecture and religious signif.
Cons: I didn't get to see it
Rating: 2/4
Details: Right in the middle or Rome

"Musei Vaticano"

written: 19 June 2000
The Vatican Museum (where they have Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel) is breathtaking. Best museum I've ever been to. The Hall of Maps is a great way to see how Ancient Rome saw the world...at this place, you can almost feel what it was like to live in Rome back then.

Pros: Sculpture, Rooms that double as artwork
Cons: nothing
Rating: 4/4
