Bergen is one of the most beautiful cities in Norway, set amongst mountains and on a peninsula on the West coast of Norway. To take advantage of the magnificent landscape of this city, take the funicular to the top of Mt Fløein and look in wonder at the sea/mountain contrast. It's spectacular, and the funicular even runs during the dead winter months (snow covered Bergen is just as gorgeous).
