Holiday: "Kaliningrad" by badstue

It is Kaliningrad not Kalingrad.
It was the former Königsberg home to E. Kant.
In Kaliningrad one finds few traces of its German past but there is the Cathedral, a statue of Kant and some other buildings. Kaliningrad is green with many parks, the river and some nice restaurants and shopping centres.
I went by bus (15 rubles) to Zelenogradsk by the Baltic sea. A nice resort town with a very good beach. Near here the famous nature reserve begins: Korskaja Kosa (Kurishe Nehrung). Is is a must due to its beauty and peace. I stayed at Hotel Deima.
