Everything is very well connected. They have a very extensive underground train station(metro) which is open from 6am to 1am daily. Trains arrive within intervals of 1-3 minutes.
Buses are frequent but require a good knowledge of your destination. Taking the metro is almost always better and faster.
Unofficial taxis are everywhere and cost a fraction of the price official taxis charge. Unofficial meaning you can hail any car that's passing by. Be sure to state a price along with the destination, otherwise the driver might unnecessarily charge you an exorbitant amount
Pros: Fast, efficient and cost effective public transpor
Cons: Be cautious if taking unofficial taxis
Details: Look for giant red "M"s which indicate presence of a metro.
