Taxidermista: "Restaurant Taxidermista"

written: 26 June 2000
A good restaurant at Plaça Real! It is a bit expensive but the food is delicious! You can choose to seat inside or outside! I ate the pork and it was totally amazing. The meat practically melted in my mouth! A good meal will probably cost between US$10 to 20-a change from bocadillos and McD´s.

Pros: Great Food!
Cons: Bit expensive!!

Les Quinze Nitz: "Les Quinze Nitz"

written: 26 June 2000
I agree with timu! This is one of the best restaurants I have been in Barcelona. The food is great and cheap! You should try the Seafood Fideuá, which is a paella made with very thin pasta. It is simply delicious!!

Pros: Good and cheap!!
Cons: Long waiting line!! Worth it, though!

Les quinze nits: "The best value restaurant in town"

written: 25 June 2000
'Les quinze nits' combines a fantastic location (plaza real) with great food, cheap prices and tasteful decoration. No wonder it's always absolutely crouded, so make sure that you book ahead or that you have enough time and patience to wait for an hour in line. Absolutely worth it.

Pros: location, price, food, style
Cons: always crouded
Rating: 4/4

If you look for exoticism, find the "1000 and one nights" atmosphere, then, I would recommend you to go to Jazmin. Jazmin is a Tunisian tea place where you will enjoy oriental ambience and decoration. Different flavours of teas and very sweet cakes ! Address : Maspons,11 - near Plaça del Sol

Pros: good food and teas
Cons: a small place

Mezzanine: "Mezzanine"

written: 22 June 2000
Specially for vegetarians. This is a vegetarian restaurant with an art exhibition and really good music playing on the background. The food is also really good. You can smell it from the street. If you're vegetarian this is a must. If you're not a vegetarian but like veggies and tasty food, then go.

Pros: Tasty food, decoration, art, music, nice service.
Cons: They don't take credit cards. You have to pay cash
Rating: 4/4

It's a pretty new restaurant with very good mediterranean and mexican food. The decoration is modern and cozy and the prizes are not bad. It's on the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, on the right of Las Ramblas if you're walking down to the sea.

Pros: Tasty food, decoration, location
Cons: Sometimes the service isn't the best.
Rating: 4/4
Details: C/Hospital. It's on a square on the left of the Street.
