I recently got back from a 2 month trip to Barcelona. I was previously warned that the food was rather disappointing, so I can with pretty low expectations. Arriving I was pleasantly surprised with what I found! I had ordered a Connect Club card offline before my travels and glanced at some of the restaurants that were offered with thier discount card. Some of my favorites were Ikibana, located off the Barceloneta metro stop. If you like sushi I would highly recommend this place, the sushi was extremely fresh and melted in my mouth. Another one of my favorite stops for lunch was the Bagel Shop. (c/ Canuda 25 08002 - Barcelona). I never thought I would be able to find bagels as good as this shop offers in Barcelona! I ordered the Classic which is a bagel of your choice, a hefty portion and cream cheese, and fresh smoked salmon. It was delicious! They have numerous sandwhices choices to choose from, or you can create your own. The bagels are made fresh daily and are definitely a great way to start off the day.
