A helpful tip: Parc Güell and the green line of the metro look very close on a map. Don´t believe the hype! It´s a long uphill climb, and it´s very easy to get lost in some shady neighborhoods. Either take the Bus Turística from Plaça de Cataluny...more

With this train it is very easy to go to nice places on the coast like Sitges, Castelldefels, Sant Paul..(around barcelona)

The T1 ticket definitely is the best deal: 10 rides for Ptas.825, and you can use one ticket for several people (validate as many times as you're people of course).
PS.: The fine for getting caught without a ticket is Ptas.5000, but ...more

If you`re planning to ride the subway a few times while you`re in Barcelona, I suggest you buy a T1 Ticket that you can get at any metro station. You get 10 rides and save quite a bit of money...
