"To cross the street"

I don't know if it's a Spanish tradition or a Catalan one, but sometimes to cross a street become THE great adventure of your life !!! <BR>
For example, it's friday night, you are exhausted after a big and hard day at work, you know you've got plenty of stuff to do like to do some shopping, if you want to eat this week-end, to call your friends to know what they are going to do tonight... You watch the traffic lights and there's a green light for you, but it begins to be intermittent. So, please, if you want to stay alive, DON'T cross the street !!! Because when the drivers see that the green light is intermittent for you, they begin again to move forward, evenif it's still red light for them !!! Ah, the dangerous life in city...
