La Alhambra: "Think ahead for the Alhambra"

written: 17 April 2001
The Alhambra is an amazing Arabian palace in a spectacular setting. A word of warning though - access to the Alhambra is limited to a number of visitors per day. They do release some tickets each day, but unless you fancy getting up before the sun rises, and queuing for 3 hours or more, a bit of advance preparation goes a long way. Booking your ticket online is possible, and a good option to saving you time.

Pros: Limited crowds through ticket limits
Cons: Book tickets in advance, take your own food

Alhambra: "Alhambra"

written: 22 June 2000
The Alhambra is an amazing historic monument/palace right above Granada. Most people that go to Granada they do it to see the Alhambra. So, you have to go if you're close to the city. Really, it's just astonishing. Because there's a lot of people, I would buy the tickets to enter some days in advance, otherwise you might find out you can't get in. If you go by car, there's a parking there.

Pros: amazing
Cons: lots of people
