This is a beautiful Arabian-style neighbourhood on the hillside of Granada. Lots of small shops, little bars and people in narrow streets selling their goods. A fascinating mix of Andalucian and Arabian styles. Lots of tourists though but the atmosphere is worth it.

Las mejores vistas del Barrio del Albaicín, se tienen desde la Alhambra, y las mejores de la Alhambra, desde el Albaicín. El color que predomina es el blanco de cal, sus calles son empedradas, estrechas y tortuosas, y los burros y mulas son el medio de transporte más usado y eficaz. Intentar ir en coche es una pérdida de tiempo. Te puedes meter en una calle estrecha que simplemente termine en escaleras... Mejor es el burro, o simplemente andar sin rumbo fijo.
