Restaurante Arzak: "Arzak restaurant"

written: 23 June 2000
This is one of the most famous, glamorous and expensive restaurants in Spain. His owner and head chief, Juan Maria Arzak, is probably the best known cook in Spain, with an outstanding international reputation too. If you want to taste the delicious vasque cuisine, and can afford the cost, this is the place to go

Pros: Delicious food
Cons: Very expensive
Rating: 3/4

Parte vieja: "The old part of the city"

written: 22 June 2000
If you're looking for the classical "montaditos" don't forget about walking around the old part of the city: "la parte vieja". It's full of bars with lots of different kinds of "montaditos". Then, at night, if you want to go out on bars, this is also the best part of the city: you can find lots of bars.

Pros: Lots of fun
Cons: some places might be expensive
Rating: 3/4
