Aunque lo mas conocido de Zaragoza sea "EL PILAR", de mayor valor artístico y cultural lo son: el Palacio de la Aljaferia, antiguo palacio árabe, que también lo fué de los Reyes Católicos. Asombra el artesonado de sus salones y las ceramicas de sus pavimentos. LA SEO, catedral situada en las proximidades del Pilar, cuyo origen fué una mezquita árabe. Exteriormente se aprecia los distintos estilos por los que pasó a lo largo de los tiempos. Interiormente una joya. Cada vez que la visito me admira mas. PUERTO FLUVIAL ROMANO. Detrás de La Seo, muestra la importancia economica que alcanzó.FORO ROMANO, bajo la plaza de La Seo. TERMAS ROMANAS.ANFITEATRO, todo ello muy próximo. The main attraction of Zaragoza seems to be its Cathedral where you will see Our Lady of the Pillar statue revered by the Spaniards through the centuries. It is believed by the Catholics that this is the first apparition of the Blessed Mother. She is perched atop an alabaster stone carrying the baby Jesus. Inside the Cathedral one can see in one of the altars two unexploded grenades. Several decades ago, some forces dropped these destructive weapons hoping to destroy the church, but with the intercession of Our Lady, the grenades never launched.
