I recommend you visit the flea market next to the train station...you will find all kinds of strange fruits and spices. Also they have very nice necklaces, scarfs, bracelets, Sri Lankan music...all sort of local stuff!!

There are lots of pubs and night clubs. Most of them are nice. I recommend you visit the Irish pub...there is a Sri Lankan band that plays the best songs of Creed, Scorpions, Jon Bon jovi...
