There are at least four grocery stores in Vaxjo. All the food there is VERY fresh and has no preservatives in them. That means that if you buy milk, it can go sour in a day or two. Also, be carefull when you pick things out of the refrigerated area...more

The public transportion is really quite good. Depending on which bus line you're on the buses generally run every 20 to 30 minutes and unless you are going to the university at 8am there is always room. They're very dependable but a bit expensive. ...more
