The Baltimore National Acquarium: "National Acquarium"
written:
23 September 2000
This is perhaps the best example of the new breed of Waterfront acquariums such as those in Boston, New Orleans, etc. The top features are the huge shark tank, the dolphin pool, and the tropical rain forest (Honest!). Great for kids as well as adults.
Pros: Wonderful exhibits
Cons: Crowded on weekend morings
Rating: 4/4
Details: Inner harbor, Pratt Street

The Senator Theater: "The Senator Theater"
written:
10 August 2000
This historical landmark is one of the last theater's of it's kind. It's an old old venue with more seats than any other theater I've seen (879). John Water's opens every movie of his there... and every big film (other than over hyped Hollywood garbage) does as well. If you go to Baltimore, nothing will give you a feel for the city's culture and pride like this grand theater.
Pros: Throwback to classical film era
Cons: Not a huge movie selection as with other theaters
Rating: 4/4

"Inner Harbor-mucho fun"
written:
15 June 2000
Check out the Inner Harbor. This place is a huge collection of shops, resturants, live shows, people milling around, etc etc. Everyone who visits Baltimore goes there. It's also right near the ESPN ZONE and the Science Center, both popular spots. Be sure to sit outside and eat seafood.
Pros: Lots of action, cool stores, on the water
Cons: A bit touristy, some crazy people walking around
Rating: 3/4
