latin club: "Lookin' for a hot night out?"

written: 22 December 2002
if you like latin music (bachata, merenge, salsa etc) latin palace is the place to go. if you don't know how to dance salsa they will teach you. but i warn you, on latin nights, there is NOTHING BUT LATIN, but that's a good thing :)

Pros: latin men
Cons: if you don't know the moves, you'll feel left out

8 x 10: "8 x 10: Baltimore's Best Live Music"

written: 24 October 2000
Itchin for some hoppin high quality live music? Want to see where bands like Dave Matthews, Phish and others started out? Come down to this swinging Federal Hill spot where you can watch a band from either of 2 cozy floors. It's been worn down by time and tunes but it's truly a must-see when in Baltimore.

Pros: Good Bands, cheap drinks, atmosphere, phatlocation
Cons: can get crowded, sometimes teens are there
Rating: 4/4

"Fells Point--nighttime hotspot"

written: 15 June 2000
This is where a lot of the club/bar scene happens in downtown Balto. A lot of hot, trendy spots. You can find quiet small bars or loud and large clubs. Go to the Green Turtle or Max's on Broadway.

Pros: Lots of action, always see someone you know
Cons: gets a bit hectic, long lines, fights sometimes
Rating: 3/4
