What is iWork?
iAgora's iWork is a job site for students and recent graduates who want internships and entry level jobs abroad, particularly in Europe. iWork centralises these international positions for young people and categorises them by location, industry, and function.
How it works:
Students and recent graduates must fill out an iWork Profile (essentially an online summary of your CV) and then can easily apply to specific jobs. Companies then pre-select applicants based on the information in their iWork Profiles -that's why it's extremely important that Profiles be accurate and up-to-date. Companies usually only consider interviewing those pre-selected applicants.
Through our free iWork service, you can easily apply to many positions in different countries which interest you. However, there is no guarantee you will meet the company's pre-selection requirements for any of these jobs. For that you need iWork Premium, only one of the services included in our inexpensive iAgora Premium membership (€24 for 1 full year).
What is iWork Premium?
iWork Premium includes all the benefits of iAgora's free iWork service plus these additional benefits:
- See twice as many offers as with the regular iWork (half the offers on iWork are anonymized so only Premium Members can see them). You will be able to apply to many more offers that interest you and you will therefore increase your chance of success. The statistics prove it: the candidates who apply to the most offers where they pass the initial pre-selection get more interviews and get more job offers.
- If you subscribe to iWork Premium then we will tell you when you meet a company's basic pre-selection criteria before you apply. This will make your job search much more effective and less time consuming. We will send you personalised reports telling you on which jobs you pass the company's pre-selection. You will not waste time applying to jobs if you do not have a real chance of success (i.e. if you don't pass pre-selection). And if you don't pass, we will tell you exactly why.
- For applications that take place through iAgora's Application Summary (versus on company career website or directly to company email) we will highlight your application so companies will notice you more. And for these we will also tell you what happens to your applications every step of the way (we simply can't if the application doesn't go through iAgora; there the company is responsible). For these applications you will have an
application status
Getting a position abroad is a lot more difficult than getting a position at home. The reality is that companies receive many more qualified applicants than they need. If you want to increase your chances and minimize the time to obtain a position abroad, then you can invest €24 for 1 full year of iAgora Premium (includes iWork Premium service and more) instead of that CD or those drinks at the bar. An international experience is an investment in your future!
