I did not only improve my Spanish, I also had a lot of fun during the classes. It was the mixture of students from all over the world and our nice teachers which contributed to the lively atmosphere.
We did all kind of exercises such as reading, writing, listening and writing. Sometimes we worked in little groups, this enables you to improve your interpersonal/cultural skills as well. Furthermore I enjoyed being able to apply what I just learned after the classes. I tried to speak as much Spanish as possible with the other students although English would have been easier for us and can only recommend you to do the same if you really want to improve your Spanish. You also get homework to do but never too much and the teachers prepare you well for doing them and answer also individual questions during the course and after the classes. During the break I used to have coffee with my fellow students on the huge patio in the sun. It's quite spacious and the wooden banks and table really invite you to have a chat with the others and make plans for the weekend. Once per month the teacher and students meet in a bar (it's not a must but you should not miss these evenings). There you can get to know students from other classes and since they change the bar each time you get to know new places in Barcelona. The only thing I did not like that much was the classroom but once the class starts you do not care that much that there could be a little more light and space. My overall experience at Babylon Idiomas was very good.
