HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: off campus
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I would take care of my own hygiene. Some students in the common living dont clean the kitchen after use and dont empty the trash for days
Personal comments:
It was difficult at first because all the information was in Swedish. But when the housing company gave me the opportunity to log in in English it became much easier to locate a house on their website

Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Personal comments:
I am one who loves meeting people and sharing thoughts out of the classroom. I couldnt learn Swedish from the host students because they never interacted with International Students except at parties when they are Drunk. What can one learn from a drunk? The experience could have been better if the host students didnt lock themselves away

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
I wish I had known that my host do not operate an equal access to research studies standard for all.No matter how much you excel, my host department gives research positions to its own. Thats why they rank at the bottom of performance every year
In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Maybe things shall change in future when the present guard running the university goes away and those coming in to take over shall be more open to quality and accept foreign students into all aspects of University activities.
