Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? facilities, living among others international and swedish students

STUDENT LIFE
by lorena, Libera Universitŕ di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM di Milano, Milan, Italy
Public Relations/Publicity/Advertising, Erasmus
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Nightlife in Orebro is organized by the students community all week long. When I was there a typical week was structured as follows: Tuesdays, international parties at Tybblehall organized by the international community, one country per week. Wednesdays: P2, a disco downtown Fridays: KArhuset, the disco pub in campus Saturdays: Strompis, a disco downtown. Every night preparties in students' rooms, especially the international ones and afterparties either in the two "illegal" pubs in campus or in students' rooms.....can you imagine that!??!??! My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
International Business courses are great because they talk a lot about every cultures but also about swedish way of doing business. Interaction between exchange and swedish students are really rewarding.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Courses and exams are done in a different manner in France and Sweden, maybe more information at first would be important This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't want/need to work Personal spending habits:
Sweden is a high living cost country, especially for food. What is really cheaper is travelling, so : don't hesitate! Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Housing: was the same price as at home. Travel: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Internet is included in every flat on the campus. Internet room at the universitie is available even at nights! Phone cards for abroad (Eurocity) call are really cheap (~10 euros=8 hours to france). You can find quite cheap food in "Prix", near the university. A good tip for travelling: take the last minute ticket directly in the airport to go up north with scandinavian airlines (30 euros to go to lulea!) OVERALL

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
The Orebro Universitet's international staff takes care of everything before you arrive, when you arrive and during your stay there (parties, information, advices ...). You don't have to worry a lot before leaving your country. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Go Go GO!!!! FINAL COMMENTS
Even if the weather is not really nice there, this university is amazing and going there is a good choice for everybody (nobody around me regretted it). It's a real change in your life because it's a totally different culture. People are nice, respectful, quite (even when they are drunk!). It's a wonderful experience to meet this culture and this nordic mentality. The study organization is flexible, there are no problem (with eacher or administration). Don't hesitate to ask swedish students for good tips (shopping at prix, phone cards eurocity and others). The social, student and nightlife is excellent. Don't forget to keep money for travelling, it worth it! In summary : Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
