HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Very convenient to stay on campus although the standard rooms are quite small and sometimes noisy from other students as well as (never ending?) maintenance work on campus.

none

Personal comments:
there is the student union cafe/pub on campus. otherwise a pretty dull campus. A place to study, not to party.

Personal comments:
The library is too small. Often have to go to other university libraries in downtown bkk, it takes about an hour or more to go to e.g. Chulalongkorn library, so can be quite time consuming. Also, the internet connection in the student dorms is very bad. Super slow. I think this a bad and strange thing for an institute that prides itself of being a leading technology institute; the internet speed in the student dorms is like you used a 14k modem.... Very annoying, I tell you.

Personal recommendation:
AIT aspires to high academic standards. However, facilities, like library (too small) and internet connection in dorms (super slow) leave a lot to wish for. But teachers and courses were good and staff at AIT were friendly and helpful.
