I was consciously trying not to spend much because the cost of living was rather expensive. Travel: was more expensive than at home. Overall: was the same price as at home. Food, Nightlife, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

I wish I had known...
How hard it is to study in UK! But with hindsight it was very rewarding in the end. I should have known Birmingham was not at all a pretty town. In my opinion:
