Living with first years as I did can be extremely annoying so knowing which flats to live is advisable.

Personal recommendation:
Enjoy the nightlife, try to travel as much as possible especially at the beginning (Scotland, Wales, Irland) and discover the nice places in B'ham and around. Do bare in mind that a first (A) is quite hard to achieve wheras the span of a 2:1 (B) is large and relatively easy to achieve.



FINAL COMMENTS

In summary it was a very interesting and fascinating experience to have studied abroad with all the ups and downs that do exist. I really loved and enjoyed it. Going home was difficult but made me love my country even more.

When you arrive in your accomondation. There is nothing in the room. You dont even have coathangers. So there is a Poundland, its directly at the train station. They have cheap stuff for household. Than you have no blanket- go to open market. You will get it there pretty cheap!

I had great time! Everybody should go there! But dont choose Low Rise accommondation! Too old and dirty!



FINAL COMMENTS

Its cheaper to travel by bus- National Express. Its at Digbeth Station. In January there is a trip from ACRA. You should definetly take a part. Exams period is quite stressful. Take lot of time for revision. And if you have questions or problems ask your teacher. Exams are very serious at Aston. Good Luck!

It's very good to improve your English (few italian people) and to study....everything is doing to encourage you to study (computer room, library, laboratory and professors)

you have to try to meet people and talk with them, partecipate to student life expetially in Guild. Travel with rail is very expensive better book the rail in advance or use the bus is longer but cheaper.

How hard it is to study in UK! But with hindsight it was very rewarding in the end. I should have known Birmingham was not at all a pretty town.

MBA seemed to be the most popular and active course of all Master's courses.

If you are not sure if you can cope with the study, wish to concentrate on studying, go to Birmingham. If you want to take it easy and have fun during your stay in UK, go to London!!
