Having had a good level of english before I did not encounter difficulties although I had to get used to the strong Birmingham dialect (Brummie) that was sometimes spoken outside university

England is very expensive and for what I usually paid 1 eur at home I had to pay 1 pound which is about 50 per cent more.

Personal recommendation
Enjoy the nightlife, try to travel as much as possible especially at the beginning (Scotland, Wales, Irland) and discover the nice places in B'ham and around. Do bare in mind that a first (A) is quite hard to achieve wheras the span of a 2:1 (B) is large and relatively easy to achieve.

Final comments
In summary it was a very interesting and fascinating experience to have studied abroad with all the ups and downs that do exist. I really loved and enjoyed it. Going home was difficult but made me love my country even more.
