It was very good to be an international student in Athlone, in Ireland. I met a lot of people from other countries, cultures, I have a lot of new friend. I could improve my English, my Business and Management skills (in an international environment). It was an advantage for my future carrier. I got to know a new country, and travelled all around Ireland. It is a beautiful country. Read Review

Personal comments:
First they said to us that we have to do whole Diploma, but I had alreaydy done mathematics and hardware studies so I have to choose other subjects. And it's was quite haed to do, because at first they didn't let us to do so. SO my suggest to improve this system is that you could choose any subjects what are good to you then you don't have to do twice same things.

Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
In Ireland the English is native language. I already had to have a good command of English to be able to get the Erasmus Scholarship. First it was a little bit difficult to understand the Irish because they have accent, and they speak fast. After I got used to it. At AIT we studied general and Business English, so I studies a lot of new things. And with the other students I used English, so my communication skills in English is very good now.
