Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
La Maison is a bar definitely not to be missed, it's decor is like a genuine 70's home and it's a cool atmosphere. The music is good, the drinks are great. A great club is La Villa and you can dance all night long there! There are also bigger clubs a bit out side the centre, like Quai Ouest and they're not bad at all. Student soirées often take place there and they shouldn't be missed. There are several nice restaurants, I recommend La Reine Margot. The setting is cosy, the food and the presentation is great and the prices aren't too bad. I didn't experience much out life in Nantes as I had a very heavy work load that semester, but I really enjoyed myself when I had the opportunity to go out! In general the best soirées were organized by school student groups. Even though there doesn't seem to be much in terms of nightlife in the city of Nantes a few places are incredible. Don't miss La maison, Le remorqueur, Le lieu unique and La cigale. Even if you get bored with Nantes Paris is only 2 hours away by TGV! You should try "La Cigale" that is located at Place Graslin. Amazing sea food restaurant, the best in the city! Also quite close to it there is a jazz bar but I don't remember the name of it. As for the night clubs-bars is concerned - there is the whole district on the island called Hangara Banana which is opposite the tram stop Chantier Naval. Club "O" and "LC" are cool. There is also club "Loft" somewhere close to Place Graslin. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If your an American you got to go to Shamrock. It is the local bar for all of the American Students studying at Audencia. Also you have to hit up John McByrn, its an Irish pub like a 5 minute walk from the center. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
