HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Living in an apartment gives you more freedom as you don't have to obey to certain restrictive rules. However, I would have taken an individual room, it's more private (although even more expensive)
Personal comments:
It's almost impossible to stay on campus as an exchange student. There are very few spots as they don't even have enough room for all the local students. But finding an apartment is quite easy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Although there is plenty to do I haven't hung out too much because it is very expensive. Best cafe, one in Cambridge in Brattle Street and another one at North End in Hanover Street. (I don't remember their names) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The subjects are really easy comparing to what I did in Spain. The only thing people have to take in mind is that they will have to read a lot as you are asked to read one whole chapter from one day to the other. This is specially frustrating at the beginning if you're not used to read in english.

Main source of funding:
Other Other sources of funding:
Family Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
I spent more mainly because prices are much higher than at home and I spent less in telephone because it's my parents in Spain who phone me and so it's them who are paying more than what they normally do. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
That international students are not allowed to be paid if they do an internship off-campus unless they have been in the country for a whole academic year before. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
