HOUSING
by Isabel, Universidad de Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain
Geology, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because living in a house enables you to be more independent than being with a family or on campus and also because you are likely to have a close relationship with your house mates.
Personal comments:
It is rather appropriate since there is a wide choice of accommodations which makes finding a proper place to life easier. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
As I learned Physics and Physics and Mathematics language is universal, I had no problem to understand the lectures. In the social life, I meet a lot of foreign students (German, italian, spanish) who have the same english level as me. Then, it was easier at the beginning to talk with them, and we improve our english together. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
by Isabel, Universidad de Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain
Geology, Erasmus
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
None Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
I spend more in telephone because international calls are more expensive than national ones, in travelling since I travelled much more than at home (I wanted to take advantage of being abroad and I wanted to know new places). And I expend less in nightlife as I used to go to house parties more than to pubs and discos. Travel, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Housing: was the same price as at home. Nightlife: was less expensive than at home.

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Yes, I wish I had known that I had to change one module I had chosen because it was full of people. However that issue was solved easily and I was allowed to chose another one which was pretty similar. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
In my opinion, the examination period should be at the end of each term instead of just in June FINAL COMMENTS
If you are to travel around the country, you'd better to book in advanced as cheaper fares are available with Megabus and National Express coach and trains. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
