At least for me the priority was to learn how to speak french really, and then it's a good idea to take courses where you have to work in teams. There are two reasons; first, that's how you get to know local students, and second, it helps you a great deal to passe the courses. The local students knows how to work and what the teachers expect to get good grades.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
As (almost) always, it's the bureaucracy that causes the problems, if there are any. Furthermore, the teachers were often very late to let the students know the results of the exams, which could be very annoying. For instance, if you don't know the results of the midterm exams when you're supposed to study for the final ones. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If you're able to take courses in the foreign lanuage then I would recommend that you do it. It's an interesting way to learn about their way of learning/ teaching and you can also meet students from the host university this way.

Personal comments:
Going to a university in Paris is quite stressful if you're used to a very efficient administration team...if you can get through the first month or so dealing with all the admin dilemas then you'll be fine! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Exams count for everything. You spend a lot of time doing projects at Dauphine (powerpoint, speeches, etc) but the thing that counts in the end is your performance on the exam.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Be prepared to be judged in front of the class--teachers like to show your errors to everyone. Also don't expect to be able to speak to your teachers. They are very distant to their students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Select mainly French courses if you're french is at a medium level! Ohterwise you tend to talk English a lot and you're possiblities to meet french (they do not like to speak english) students is minimal

My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
More information about the host universities; a consistent and fair grading; try to create similar conditions for ERASMUS-students as the students were very angry because of many "methods" concerning grading; there was too little information in general. It's really a heavy program to attend. Interested students shouldn't underestimate the stress and the pain waiting for them...
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
It would be nice to have more flexibility and choice regarding the courses to attend. In fact I had to do 14 stipulated courses (Unites de Valeur=UV) over 3 semesters. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
