If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Although I enjoyed living on campus the school wasn't in the centre of Lyon. I'd prefer to live in the town centre as there is more to do and travel time would be less.
Personal comments:
Excellent value and the school arranges it for you. Easy to meet local/foreign students. I recommend the Drakkar (small apartments) as oposed to the Galion (single rooms, communal kitchen and lounge).

Course recommendations:
Very complicated online enrolement procedure, which made it difficult to get the courses you needed. Luckily I managed to work it out, and I got the courses I wanted.

Take advantage of Lyon's location - within 2 hrs of the Alps, Paris and Geneva, and not far from Italy. Explore the small towns around Lyon.
