Lyon is really central - it's only 1.5 hours from Paris, Montpellier and Geneva and these places are really nice. Read Review

Vieux Lyon and Rue merciere where you can find very nice old places with a lot of nice pubs and the best restaurants of Lyon

I phoned home quite a lot which was expensive, going out is expensive but worth it, and I spent a lot on travel because I wanted to see France
