HOUSING

Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The campus is far away from everything. Brest is a very dynamic city where people are really nice, so i would have preferred to have more contact with this people.
Personal comments:
Life at campus is not bad... We have a bar that any student can open whenever he wants, and there are a lot of parties. But life in Brest is better. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE

Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The students here are amazing! They do the party almost every week! The school provides a kind of bar which is equiped with studio for the DJ to play the music. The school has also a big gym in which you can play tennis, basketball, body building, badminton, etc! Sometimes, the students make a theatrical performance in the amphitheatre, which is very enjoyable! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Yes, I wanted to improve my French How much did you improve your French?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
The french guys rarely speak english. So, it's very wise if you take a french class just before you go here. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Food and housing are more expensive in the Western Europe than in Poland. Moreover, traveling from France to Poland costs more than traveling withing Poland, obviously. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
The weather is awfull at least for someone coming from a sunny country like me. And the campus is far away from everything. But I had a lot of fun anyways. In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
If you go, make sure not to stay every day in the campus. In Brest there are a lot of people really nice that you should meet. FINAL COMMENTS
If have less than 26 years, Brest is great, because there are only student people in the streets. Most of them are very grunge, very hippies and they are very easy to talk to. The campus is very nice with a beach beside, but the problem is that it's far away from Brest (20min in bus). Anyway there's a bar in the campus, and uselly there's a lot of parties, and a lot of foreign students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
