Personal comments
Although the cleanliness could have been better, the location of my apartment was really good for being at the same distance from Esade and downtown. Moreover, Esade had no campus!

In Barcelona, and in Spain in general, the nightlife is well developed. People eat quite late (10pm) and go out later in the night. My favourite night spots were: the mare magnum, la oveja negra and the olimpic port.

Academic
Course recommendations
I was enrolled in the Cems Master courses, I had to validate 6 of them, that is to say quite a lot of them! I chose mostly marketing and human resources lectures, but they were all really good and enjoyable.

Personal comments
My motivations for an exchange in Spain were to know more about spanish culture and improve my spanish. The courses were in spanish-castillan but the local life was in catalan (most of the time subtitled in castillan). Catalan people speak both castillan and catalan so, as they were noticing that we were foreigners, they spoke to us in castillan so we coud easily understand. In fact, my life in Barcelona was castillan!

There was a lot to see and do. Going in a foreign country is mainly motivated by the will to know the culture, so you have to go out more often than at home!
