STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Night spots are hard to find in Montpellier because they have to close at 01.00AM. On the other hand, you have bars in every street and they all have their own charm! Here are some names: Barbarossa, Cargo, Café Joseph, Macadam, The Australian, ... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: French
Was learning French a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my French How much did you improve your French?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
I learned loads of french but i'm still not 'bilingue', that's because of the Erasmus program. Other students don't speak a word of french, so you adapt to them and speak English. I have to admit, my english improved more than my french This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Simple, because its more expensive... Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Drinks in bars are, compared to Belgium, extremely expensive, so just go to a supermarket, get your drinks, have an aperitive en then go out! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Not really In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

Personal recommendation:
Start yoga lessons :) People from the south live their lives at their own speed, in other words => SLOW! Don't think you'll get anything done in one day, give it a week or two! FINAL COMMENTS
It was the best year of my life, if you have the opportunity to go, don't hesitate, just go !!!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
