I worked, but it was illegal/cash in hand work Personal spending habits:
Housing was more expensive and at Stratclyde I walk to uni instead of having to take the bus so obviously I spent more on transport! Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.

I knew most stuff before i went, wish I'd had more information on which bank to get an account with though, Societe Generale are "difficult" to deal with, shall we say... In my opinion:
